About Sandy El Chaar
Sandy El Chaar is a psychologist and a trained psychotherapist specialising in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy. She is also a researcher with experience in mental health systems strengthening and in the development, testing, adaptation, and sustainable scaling of evidence-based interventions in conflict-affected contexts. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing her PhD. Sandy is also a trainer with the Gesellschaft für Logotherapie und Existenzanalyse (GLE), working within the tradition of Viktor Frankl and further developed by Alfried Längle. She is Co-Founder of the Meaningful Paths Mountain Framework and, at Meaningful Paths, she leads the clinical direction and development of the framework, translating existential psychological principles into accessible tools for the general public. She is also the author of Quest for Meaning: 10 Exercises on Purpose, a practical workbook designed to help individuals clarify values and direction through structured existential reflection.
